1. Process depth measurements, using two encoders and the magnetic markers on the cable;

2. Intensify magnetic markers; 

3. Process line speed and estimate depth of arrival to casing, touchdown and top of the well;

4. Process tension from loadcell;

5. Process casing collars (CCL); 

6. Provide input to the cruise control and reel shutdown drum brake; 

7. Provide and receive all parameters to and from the host computer;

8. Drive the Rig Floor Display;

9. Display all parameters;

10. Provide depth control to the operator in the event of power failure or host computer failure.
